ATI Flat Rolled Products – Brackenridge, PA EAF cable storage and handling solutions
Problem: ATI wanted to promote safe handling, storage and transportation of their EAF power cables. We were happy to help!
Solution: Our engineers, designers and fabricator designed and built self-centering stackable storage trays (E-Z StacTM) to keep cables safe during travel and out of harm’s way on the melt floor. Each cable was equipped with two (2) removable handling fixtures to facilitate safe installation and removal. These solutions make great sense for any EAF/LMF operation to address safe power cable handling and storage.
